Well, there are mandatory laboratory animal adoption laws, federal and state. So each state should have a law if there’s a testing laboratory there. And this is for companion animals, meaning dogs and cats. So, if there’s a laboratory in Maryland that does experimentations on cats and dogs, if they’re healthy enough to be rehabilitated and live a normal life, legally, they must be released to a rescue instead of euthanized.
