On April 21, 2024, our Association members from California, USA, participated in the Earth Day 2024 event in Sacramento. This annual event is the largest Earth Day celebration in the Sacramento region. Over 100 exhibitors and hundreds of attendees gathered in recognition of the importance of preserving the environment and saving the Earth.
Earth Day is celebrated globally on April 22 to raise awareness and encourage citizens’ planet-saving actions. Our California Association members’ participation at this Earth Day event was to highlight the vegan lifestyle as the quickest and best way to address the climate crisis.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) for Her tireless efforts to share the compassionate message of veganism for the benefit of all beings and the planet. We also thank our Association members and all the Earth Day event participants for their enthusiastic work in spreading awareness of the vegan lifestyle and other ways to protect the planet. May all humans adopt vegan and eco-friendly ways of living, for the flourishing beauty of our loving Earth.
